As a senior executive, he has extensive experience in distribution operations and lean manufacturing transformations in multiple industries. a) Currently serves as Managing Director for an industrial refrigeration systems integrator, VaCom Technologies, part of Bitzer Group, where he is leading a business turnaround effort to disrupt the industry and has been able to double revenues in his first year. b) Preciously he served as President & CEO for Southern Staircase where he led manufacturing and supply chain operations supporting eight locations nationwide. As a humanitarian, he has led and supported multiple disaster relief efforts throughout the globe and innovated in partnership with peer agencies.Rigoberto's experience combines distribution operations, entrepreneurship, e-commerce, online marketplace platforms, aggregated supply chains and finance. He has led investments in companies and initiatives aimed at increasing access to financial services for under-served markets in the Americas. He speaks Spanish and English fluently, has worked in multiple countries in the Americas, Europe, Africa and Southeast Asia. He is a graduate of Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and the National University of Honduras where he obtained a dual degree in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering.
