I was responsible for the group’s accounting and payroll departments and lead a team of 6 people. I was member of the management team and reported to the Managing Director. My main responsibilities were leadership, management, development of accounting and payroll functions, analysis of group’s financial status and business environment, monthly and annual reports, statutory reports, tax planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, development of financial reporting and analyses, company bylaws, bank relations, procurement of services form the shared service centre, contract management and control of group’s insurances (including pension insurance TyEl).I actively participated in the development and implementation of strategy, preparing and executing short and long term plans, business development, tender calculations, investment calculations, competitor analysis and contract negotiations. In addition I’ve been involved in many projects, due diligence processes, employee co-operation negotiations, Nobina’s Nordic leadership process team and have represented bus transportation companies in the bus branch index group of the Statistics Finland.

I was responsible for the financial reporting to the management of the company in Finland and to the mother company in Japan. I prepared analysis and calculation for business planning, developed the reporting system, instructed and supported subsidiaries in financial reporting, co-ordinated and managed budget and forecasting processes, ensured and controlled the validity of financial figures, was responsible for cash management, consolidation of statutory books and sales bonus calculations. I also participated in the accounting system project in which Oracle Finance was changed to Scala. I represented finance department in the monthly business review and I communicated daily with different departments both in the Finnish headquarters and in the foreign subsidiaries. I renewed the sales bonus scheme.
