I am a Water Resources Engineer, graduate of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). I am currently engaged with S4W Nepal (Smartphones For Water Nepal) as a research associate working in the sector of water resources in the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal. I am also working as a consultant (hydrologist and drainage engineer) in the Air Transport Capacity Enhancement Project (ATCEP) for the Tribhuvan International Airport Improvement Project (TIAIP) under ADB's South Asia Subregional Economic Cooperation (SASEC). As a part-time instructor, I give lectures to Civil Engineering students in NCIT College, Pokhara University. I have a keen research interest in the sectors of water resources modeling, climate change, integrated water resources management (IWRM), nature-based solutions (NbS). As a part of my master's research, I worked on the use of remote sensing and GIS to estimate evapotranspiration (ET) and associated agricultural droughts. I have four+ years' experience in the sector of hydrology, construction, water infrastructure design, and infrastructure development. I am pursuing opportunities as a graduate of water engineering and management in the development and research sector.
