With over 200 fellows this is a huge think-tank that investigates new developments in the world of Information Technology.We share our results in blogs, articles, books, presentations, videos, podcasts and more.My contributions are mainly on the topics of: 1) Quality engineering & Testing and 2) Intelligent Machines (Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotics, etcetera)

The TMAP Special Interest Group consists of TMAP Experts and TMAP trainers and training providers. This SIG is responsible for creating and/or reviewing contents for the TMAP training courses and exams. Also the SIG members help promoting the training courses and certification scheme for people involved in IT delivery.TMAP is all about quality engineering and testing. The TMAP body of knowledge is at www.TMAP.net. The certification scheme is explained on www.TMAPcert.com.

In a setting where the department Keten Informatie Voorziening (end-to-end information provisioning) is responsible for an update of the existing system, that is supplied by the independent internal IT organization, my role is to support both parties in assuring that the new situation will meet the quality needs of the users of the information. NS and ProRail were replacing the VKL system by new systems. ProRail had already replaced their systems. NS has now also finished working on the systems to plan and control train-material and -personnel and to create and update travel-information. The systems had to be tested end-to-end. My role was to supervise testing of this end-to-end chain and to advice the responsible stakeholders on status and possible actions. PostNL has the experience that automatic regression testing is very valuable. Now they want to lift it to the next level. My role is to enable the organization and its projects to incorporate it. Together with management and team of the test center, the test managers and project managers and the testing specialists we create the proper mix of service based automated testing and flexible agile testing.
