At those years at the agriculturals schools theoretical education was given. At the 'praktijkschool" practical education was given. All students had to come to Oenkerk to obtain this practical education for a couple of weeks. In Oenkerk we had around 300 cows, sheep, goats and horses. I was a teacher in: milking machines, feeding, hoof trimming, sheep and international students. In approx. 1985 automation (feeding computers and management software) came on the Dutch market. Together with a colleague I founded the automation division. Trained a lot of farmers in the benefits of feed computer and how PC's worked. In approx. 1987 fish became popular as an alternative or second activity next to the cows. I built that complete section in our school We kept eel and catfish. I was the division leader and specialist.
