Senior Manufacturing Manager, academic levelI have led manufacturing departments of + 150 fte. Managing an own built team consisting of health&safety, quality, innovation, manufacturing engineering, planning, machine shop, assembly and maintenance. High level of complexity: engineering to order - low volume/high mix - variable load - complex routings.Former roles as project leader to execute complex automotive production cells from calculation of part price and project budget to delivering the project to manufacturing.I believe sustainable change can only be reached by balancing the organisational, social and technological systems. Connecting top-down by sharing the same values, connecting over departments to create flow and connecting all employees to a drive for continuous improvement. Leading to a higher added value in both manufacturing (direct) as well as supporting processes.My passion is to control operations and to lead towards a more capable, faster manufacturing process. I can do this in a role as manufacturing/operations manager but I am also open to facilitate your organisation for a shorter period as an independent consultant.
