Our brain's sensory system is constantly filtering out noise, while only select signals get through to a conscious level. Nowadays, we are daily exposed to information that's designed to bypass our natural filters. It's hard to make sense out of it all and some signals are easily misinterpreted.I think being aware of and putting weight on both unconscious and conscious analysis of incoming data is a key skill in today's information-filled world. A skill that can help stay focused on what's relevant and also to not get overwhelmed; stay mindful. I'm currently brushing up these skills of data engineering and data analysis as a professional and as an individual.I'm doing my best to stay on top of the latest advancements in the vast field of data (analysis, processing, science...) and neuroscience/cognitive studies. Such an interesting relationship that these fields form! My interest is directed towards tech in general, but I also enjoy music and arts. Hit me up if these topics are important to you as well!
