Band Of The Year 2012 is set to become the premier US competitive event for bands of all genres, providing them the opportunity to promote their music, reach new fans, and be recognized by a select international panel of judges from across the entertainment industry. Thirty-two bands will perform live in qualifying events in Austin, Dallas, San Antonio and Houston with the top six bands performing at Austin City Limits Live at the historic Moody Theater in Austin, Texas on Saturday June 16 alongside our guest artists including Patrice Pike, Guy Forsyth, Ginger Leigh, John Pointer, and Wendy Colonna.o Coordinated over 30 bands through qualifying rounds in central Texas.o Coordinated the finale at ACL Live at the Moody Theater, which included 7 competing bands and a headliner ‘All-Star’ band.o Formed and maintained positive and effective relationships with band managers, booking agents, musicians/bands, venue owners, and venue staff.o Monitored and secured all logistics for qualifying rounds and finale, which included key contact with venues, load-in schedules, scheduling run of show, sound checks, performances, equipment rentals, green room accommodations, and stage management.o Managed social media presence, including live tweets and posts from events as well as promoted each event to different audiences and regions.

I started out as a simple receptionist and after time, started to explore more options within that role (marketing, billing, etc.)o Receptionist duties for Studios East (manage phone, mail, deliveries, etc for 5 tenants).o Entered and tracked invoices for BIG using Microsoft Access and QuickBooks.o Managed/maintained Facebook account, website photos as well as overall Internetpresence through media outlets like Yelp!, Manta, etc.o Brainstormed new ways to present BIG and services to corporate and local consumers(mini commercial, pamphlet/brochures, etc).

Capstone Real Estate Services is an apartment management company. I served as the Team Lead for a department known as Priority Payments. We handled all core billing for the properties managed by Capstone Real Estate Services, as well as third party billing.
