Collaborated with Martijn Blanes to help establish RadarLAB, a 3000 m2 training facility for law enforcement operators. Kudos to Bart Verhagen for his exceptional work as the master mind behind this unique “blended learning” center.Currently I dedicate a few days a month to the continuing facility development in close partnership with facility manager Sandra ter Smitte. Martijn and I also handle maintenance and special projects, ensuring a top-notch experience.Located near Schiphol airport, this one of a kind facility caters primarily to Dutch law enforcement but is open to foreign groups discreetly enhancing their skill set. Worked my way up the organization. Learned a lot about outdoor sports, how to manage teams, entertain groups and organize. We worked hard and played hard. Got to know a lot of amazing people, some of them still being my best friends.

I spend my summers working for several touring operators like BINK travel, Cirkel Holland, Transalpino, Sundio etc. I set up and managed holiday camps for youth, singles and families. Relaxing, experience local food and culture but most of all outdoor sports like canyoning, sailing, climbing and biking.

At this company I discovered and started exploring the great outdoors as an instructor. After a few years I also got the opportunity to get to know the incentive and event market.

Life's a beach! Living the dream ;-) everything was new and exciting. Being a surf coach, travel rep, outdoor instructor and running the surf camp together with my colleagues and friends was the experience of a lifetime 🏄‍♂️

Getting all kind of things done. I learned to appreciate the magic of building stuff with your own hands, working with wood and learning by doing.
