I did a small study about a new oxygen production system intended to bring down the costs of oxygen needed for so called oxyfuel combustion capture processes, which use oxygen instead of air in combustion. This is beneficial because the partial pressure of carbon dioxide in the flue gas rises, which makes it easier to capture.

I wrote my thesis "Flue Gas Processing in Amine-Based Carbon Capture Systems". It is a review of flue gas processing technology needed to produce transportable and storable carbon dioxide from the flue gas of a conventional power plant.
