Working on the next generation of Medtronic's mobile 2D/3D imaging system. Primarily responsible for the electrical aspects of the panel interface, generator, and power distribution module but also help drive the new collision avoidance and light field solutions.Electrical Design Achievements and Responsibilities:- Developed portions of the power distribution and detector interface modules' circuitry in PADs.- Drove component selection and derating of DC/DC Converters, Linear Regulators, and optocouplers to ensure product lifetime goals.- Brought up and debugged prototypes of a mobile x-ray system weighing more than 1 ton and containing over 20 PCBAs including a high energy supercap module.- Oversaw layout development in Allegro.- Created and used a bench top test plan to validate the detector interface modules functionality and reliability.- Wrote and tested CPLD code for the power module's emergency stop logic.- Used oscilloscopes, data logger, thermal couplers, spectrum analyzers and other Electrical Test Equipment to gather data that I later processed in Matlab.- Developed the cable and power solutions for the new camera system.- Designed and created proof of concepts for a new LFI solution.Other Relevant Achievements and Roles- Collaborated often with SW, Systems, Mechanical, and Reliability Engineers on cross functional projects.- Managed communication and collaboration with vital outside vendors.- Assisted team management and organization by building out custom spreadsheets.- Became system level expert who was relied upon by other team members for general system knowledge.- Mentored engineering interns.

Responsible for the AC math and lab courses that will give them the mathematical foundation to analyze AC circuits as well as the experience and practical know how on how to use function generators, power sources, and oscilloscopes.
