The Garden School Foundation is a non-profit organization that spreads knowledge and awareness about garden-based education to Title 1 schools in Los Angeles county. I teach elementary students about environmental stewardship, the relationship between food and culture, and run a composting program on campus to further enhance the vegetation growing in the garden.

I was a lead at Seeds Juice Company in San Luis Obispo, California where I would prepare smoothies, açaí bowls, coffee, and more as well as tending the cash register and directing the employees along with making the work schedule. This helped me gain a plethora of skills which consists of communication with customers, taking on leadership roles, and taking accountability for the overall operations of the store.

I was enrolled in the Special Education classrooms at my high school aiding the disabled students in fundamental practices of classroom etiquette and activity. We would participate in the end of the year Special Olympics which consisted of me guiding my students through different sporting events, cheering them on throughout medal ceremonies, and teaching them good sportsmanship. From this experience, I have gained an immense amount of patience and responsibility from guiding these students.
