After 6 years out of the business, I'm back! Many familiar faces. A whole heap of new projects.

My career with Telstra started over 2 years ago as a graphic designer working on the T-Life experience, from initial logo crafting and brand guidelines through to store layout and fixture design. Almost 1 year ago my position changed and I am now working solely on store design and management of the now Telstra Store rollout.Key responsibilities involve:• Managing the store role design process and ensuring all timelines and KPIs are met.• Ensuring a consistent high quality experience from store to store.• Design of store layouts from initial hand drawn sketch, through to digital layouts prior to handover for CAD production.• Other design includes custom store signage, internal & external graphics, fixtures, visual merchandise areas, digital & print media, style guides and branding documents.• Liaising with architects, project managers, contractors and other 3rd parties.• Reviewing existing store layouts on site and monitoring traffic flow and customer interaction to ensure the design works and make changes where required.• Running a daily design review with senior stake holders where all active stores are looked at in terms of design, cost and operational viability.

I was appointed as the Senior Graphic Designer for the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance to completely overhaul their brand.Key responsibilities involved:• Rebranding of the company which included all collateral, website & other digital media, course handbooks, text books, online learning system and an all new member program.• The website design included an in depth review of the existing site looking at design, content, technology and the overall online experience. Many paper prototypes were designed and worked on to ensure the end result was right the first time.• Mentoring a junior designer

Key responsibilities involved:• Undertaking a wide variety of screen and print based projects, taking responsibility from concept through to finished product.• Working on screen projects involving dynamic Content Managed Websites, interactive Flash presentations and CD-Roms.• Print projects ranged from the development of advertising campaigns to branding, packaging, signage and information design.• Gaining valuable knowledge of working in a small studio environment with constant access to senior web developers and designers.
