In this position I work with library staff to provide people with access to a variety of benefits that the library offers. My primary duties include assisting with technology use, data entry, and providing excellent customer service.

I assist in compiling and reporting financial data, as well as checking for errors in the data. In this role, I also collect deposits and prepare cash for different locations at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

I captured, handled, and identified a variety of herpetofauna (reptiles and amphibians) with a small team and eventually taught others with no experience how to do the same work that I completed. Extensive experience handling venomous snakes and practicing wildlife safety under an IACUC agreement.

I worked with a team to improve trails throughout the park to ensure the safety of visitors while remaining mindful of possible hazards. In this position, I assisted in creating stone steps, retaining walls, and log bridges while wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment and uniform at all times.

Identified animals, and organized and labeled photos taken alongside Highway 64 in wildlife underpasses and breaches in the fences that lead the wildlife to the underpasses. For this work, I worked both independently and remotely and attended regular meetings to discuss the work I had done.

Cared for children ages 7 through 17 while maintaining a positive attitude. Taught children about ecological concepts, teamwork, and GPS.

I was taught the basics of trail management, wildlife safety, teamwork, and communication, and completed physical projects while doing so. Through this position, I gained a basic introduction to physical labor and carpentry.
