PXP was acquired by Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold in June 2013. My roles remained similar with change in ownership, with expanded geologic roles in the Mazagan Block, offshore Morocco. The Eagle Ford (Operations Lead of the Geosteering Team with average 5 rigs) asset was sold in 2014; my primary duties then focused on the geological aspects of the 3 deepwater rigs coming to the Gulf of Mexico, that program started in mid-2014. Roles & responsibilities changed as operations evolved; I oversaw acquisition & evaluation of all shallow hazard data both domestic and international, and the detailed well planning with hands on execution and operations management for over 20 deep-water wells. Represented company to BOEM & BSEE as required

Initially on the New Zealand project, where we had offshore blocks in the Taranaki and East Coast Basins. Also on the Vietnam team where we had a block in the offshore Phu Khanh Basin. Then on the deep water Gulf of Mexico team drilling the Friesian wells in Green Canyon. After Macondo, when PXP took a hiatus in the GoM, I headed up the Eagle Ford asset (oil shale) geosteering team for 2 years where we planned, landed, and drilled out over 200 wells with up to 9 rigs. I was pulled back into GoM at the start of 2013 as PXP ramped up activity there. Mainly organized the permitting process for GoM deepwater exploration wells. Also helping with the offshore Morocco Mazagan Block. PXP was acquired by Freeport-McMoRan in 2013, I joined Freeport-McMoRan at that time

Bangkok 1995-2002. Budapest 2002-2005. Houston 2005-2007

International Group. Responsible for the G&G operational activities offshore Thailand in the Northern Pattani Basin, based in Bangkok, as Pogo ramped up from no production to over 200 MMCFGD and 75,000 BOPD with multiple horizontal wells. An intensive time period of activity. Seconded to our partner, Chevron Thailand, from 1999-2001 where I was Manager Geological Operations & Formation Evaluation. I moved to Budapest to help with the geological activities associated with the Pogo Szolnok & Tompa Blocks. I then moved to Houston headquarters in 2005, where I was assigned to the New Zealand and Vietnam assets. Pogo was sold to PXP (Plains Exploration) in Nov-2007 and I joined PXP.
