As an environmental scientist with a strong academic foundation and practical experience, I am dedicated to solving complex environmental challenges through innovative solutions and a results-driven mindset. I hold a B.S. in Environmental Science and Conservation from Concordia University Texas, where I graduated with honors and was named the 2023 Science Student of the Year, and I am currently pursuing an M.S. in Environmental Analysis at Rice University.Throughout my academic and professional journey, I’ve gained hands-on experience in ecological risk assessments, NEPA compliance, wetland delineations, endangered species surveys, groundwater modeling, and sustainable design. I have contributed to meaningful projects, such as developing a surface water benchmark for ethylene glycol during my internship with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and preparing environmental permits and reports for numerous energy sector clients during my internship at SWCA.My collegiate athletic career in baseball has equipped me with invaluable skills in teamwork, leadership, time management, and adaptability, which complement my technical expertise in environmental regulations, data analysis, GIS, and technical writing. Additionally, I have demonstrated a commitment to conservation through my work with the federally endangered golden-cheeked warbler in northwest Austin.I am passionate about advancing sustainability, environmental remediation, and conservation efforts to address today’s pressing environmental issues. Whether through environmental consulting, regulatory compliance, or sustainability initiatives, I am eager to make a meaningful impact and contribute to a more sustainable future.
