I am currently a medical student at the University of Minnesota Medical School where I serve as Director of Operations for the HOPE clinic - a student-run free clinic that provides basic healthcare services and medications to those who may otherwise struggle to access the healthcare system in the Duluth community.During my undergraduate studies at St. John's University, I was employed at SJU as a Resident Assistant and as a Captain for the St. John's Fire Department. I also competed as a member of the varsity cross country and track & field teams competing in all fall, winter, and spring seasons. My undergraduate studies were focused on the natural sciences, including intensive laboratory exploration and experience. My education also includes the strong integration of a diverse variety of liberal arts courses. I have additional emergency services experience closer to my hometown as an EMT for the Red Lake Ambulance, an experience that was foundational for my knowledge and skill as a healthcare provider as well as developing my personal mission to bring care to those in need.
