Currently I am in my third year of a double degree (Bachelor of sport science and sport management) at Victoria University, with one year left in the stated course. After completion of this course, I aim to obtain a masters in Exercise Physiology, so I can pursue my career in this field. As someone motivated to assist people with rehabilitation and fitness, I am always asking myself, "how can I provide equal opportunity for all groups, in addition to providing people with disabilities options to achieve optimal health.This goal of providing equal opportunity to all resulted in me obtaining employment as a disability support worker, requiring me to gather the necessary skills and experience to understand the needs of this particular group of clientele. Over my year and a half working in this field, I have developed workout regimes for my clients, and am always motivating them to be active despite the insecurities they may hold. I hope to take my experience as a disability support worker to a role as an exercise physiologist, as I believe they have various similarities, with the skills I have developed making me fit in this position swiftly.

  In this role, I am involved in assisting participants in doing day-to-day activities, setting up schedules for clients and getting them involved in fun and helpful activities. I have been involved in this role for a year and a half and find extreme joy in my job as it gives me satisfaction and fulfillment.
