During my time as a Team Leader while at Harkins Theaters I learned to multitask and manage many people in order to get a variety of tasks done by the end of shift. This trained me to consider lack of staffing, prioritizing, abilities of staff, concerns for day and night shift, and communication with my managers and the other two areas when needed. This background transferred well into my clinical rotations as I was able to adapt and respond well to the stressful and demanding environment the hospital can require. As a nursing student I am building my knowledgebase and skills in the classroom while learning application, skills, and more time increasing my patient experience while at clinicals. A huge part being communication and grouping tasks.
