Developed a model of an ESG organization for Senior E&P Executive to be integrated alongside existing business units to manage and collaborate in low carbon and energy transition project development. Collaborated with the People & Organization department and senior management in Canada in creating the draft structure and new roles and responsibilities at the country level, prior to Repsol exiting the country.Led the successful application for jointly funded project by Emissions Reductions Alberta and the US DOE (Project AMIGO/ACT4) in partnership with the University of Alberta, National Energy Technology Laboratory and Repsol's Geological Low Carbon Solutions team evaluating converting a depleted hydrocarbon reservoir nearing economic end of life into a carbon storage reservoir.Executed commercialization of natural gas, sulphur and carbon credits for Repsol Canada (E&P) and third party producers. Responsible for all aspects of commercialization including transportation optimization, scheduling/trading activities and training staff for weekend/holiday coverage. Executed successful accelerated handover of Repsol Canada's entire gas marketing portfolio (~120,000 GJ/day with ~25 sales points across Alberta and exports to California) to new owner in 6 weeks.Developed and executed multi-year emissions compliance mitigation strategies for Repsol's Canadian business.

Stakeholder management between Operations, Commercial, Planning and Joint Ventures regarding Repsol's Edson-based sour gas processing (375MMSCFD) and cogeneration (11MW) plant.Worked with the Alberta Climate Change Office, CAPP and industry representatives in the development of gas plant CO2e emission benchmarks under the Carbon Competitiveness Incentive Regulation. Received CAPP Recognition Award in 2017 and 2018 for these efforts.Spearheaded industry wide initiative with the Alberta Energy Regulator to implement tiered sulphur recovery licensing for Alberta facilities and successfully led the relicensing of Repsol's Edson Gas Plant.Collaborated with Spartan Controls, Repsol HSE and AER to pilot technology and help develop regulation for innovative SlipStream technology to reduce gas dehydrator benzene and greenhouse gas emissions.Supported integrated project management, infrastructure planning and construction management for greenfield Duvernay and Montney development projects. Oversaw design and execution of well sites, compressor sites, stabilizer sites and produced water reservoirs.
