Assisted in the operation of a water treatment plant subsequent to a dredging and dewatering initiative in the Milwaukee River. Treatment facility consisted of a settling sump, multi-media filters, clay filters, bag filters, and granulated activated carbon tanks.Operated both a diesel booster pump and an array of electric pumps, ensuring the seamless progression of water through the treatment processes.Managed the controlled introduction of ferric chloride and hydrogen peroxide, optimizing the aggregation of particles and maintaining pH equilibrium as dictated by state parameters.Conducted hourly assessments of turbidity levels and pH parameters, promptly making adjustments as circumstances required. Conducted comprehensive weekly analytical sampling, preparing samples for a third-party analysis.Completed daily reports for the project manager.

Analyzed railroad and infrastructure projects’ projected impact on the surrounding communities and environment. Prepared diagrams and maps illustrating projects’ layout and surrounding environmental features. Completed state and federal forms for several states concerning the environmental impact of railroad and infrastructure projects: Local Agency Environmental Clearance Form (Form 5323), Hydraulic Report, and Categorical Exclusion (CATEX). Completed Environmental Analysis (EA) Report for the National Environmental Protection Agency (NEPA) concerning a railroad development project for the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT). Modified designs to adapt to projected changes in collaboration with rail engineers. Designed schematic drawings of rail lines and rail yard.
