– Assisted a graduate student with in situ experiments on Salvelinus namycush embryo suppression methods – 20+ scientific dives (dry suit) on SCUBA – Yellowstone Lake (elev. 7700)

– Instructed Spey fishing techniques to catch steelhead and salmon– Rowed drift boats and rafts through whitewater and adverse conditions
