I am a Sophomore at Washington and Lee University, and my compassion and interest in environmental policy lobbying have led me to a double major in Political Science and Environmental Studies on a sustainable commerce track. Through my time at W&L, I have spent my time researching alternative ways to access rare earth elements with the National Science Foundation and educating myself on the fundamentals of political science through the politics department. Out of school, I am a peer counselor, career fellow, and social action coordinator of the Beta Beta Nu Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated. Through these positions, I have worked to help my peers on this campus and enrich the community around me. Helping people is something very dear to my heart, and is an aspect of my life I hope to incorporate into my profession.
