I am currently working as a Hospice Registered Nurse Case Manager in a home health setting. This role has provided me with opportunities to work in all aspects of the patient care continuum, including triage, critical thinking, autonomous nursing, care coordination, and interdisciplinary collaboration. It has given me the opportunity to further my communication skills, people skills, and teaching skills. Prior to Home Hospice, I worked as an Intensive Care Nurse. Here I learned crucial nursing skills as well as critical assessment skills that have made me the nurse I am today. It is my goal to gain as much experience and skills as possible in a new nursing role to further enhance my nursing abilities. My passion for my patients, families, and healthcare continues to grow as I strive towards new skills, goals, and furthering my education.
