I am a determined and driven business professional with an educational background in finance and years of on-the-job experience in customer service, lean manufacturing, and data analysis. After successfully receiving my bachelors degree, I knew the hard work was just beginning. I immediately transitioned back into the roll I held on summer breaks as a landscape laborer. Long hours and strenuous work gave me the motivation to figure our what my next move would be. This came in the form of an inventory analyst position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Not exactly what I had in mind coming out of school but an excellent opportunity to practice some of the skills I had studied in the classroom. After a short time getting my bearings at the new position, my company along with the rest of the world was hit by a surprise. This made some large changes to the position I had just started learning and I began to realize this was not the place for me. After some deep thought and self-reflection, I began to search for my next opportunity amid an unstable job market. I was fortunate enough to find a niche-industry, family owned business with a place for me. Here I was able to quickly prove my worth and receive promotion along the way. I have been able to practice and strengthen skills of many disciplines. Soft skills like time management, attention to detail, and intrapersonal skills were put to the test. Skills with inventory management, ERP systems, and logistics were gained. I have been able to broaden my skillset and increase my knowledge. Now my goal is to use these acquired skills along with my education to prove myself in a new position. I aim to bring hard work, a self-motivated attitude, and a drive to succeed to my next employer.
