I graduated Summa Cum Laude with my Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education from Austin Peay State University and am currently finishing up my Masters in Business Administration at Western Governors University. My teaching career began in Cheatham County where I taught both Inclusion Preschool and Voluntary PreK with class sizes up to 20 students. I resigned from the Cheatham County School District and began working as a full-time nanny in Clarksville, Tennessee where I provided care for twin boys from the ages of 8 months to 19 months old. Following the nanny position, I decided to get back into teaching, where I am currently an Inclusion Preschool Teacher in the elite Clarksville Montgomery County School System. I provide a positive and inviting learning environment for my students of varying needs and abilities between the ages of 3 and 5 through the use of enthusiasm, play-based learning, positive reinforcement, patience, and flexibility.
