My journey through the coding bootcamp at EDA has not only been a deep dive into the world of software development but also a profound personal and professional transformation. The rigorous, fast-paced curriculum challenged me to push beyond my limits, fostering a growth mindset that I now apply everything in life.

- Scraped, scrubbed, and cleaned all the dishware in the kitchen to keep up on the demands of a 100-seat restaurant- Improved the efficiency of the dishwasher machine by pre-rinsing and scrubbing dishware before- Clean coffee, tea, meat slicing, juicing and other food machinery with patience, care, and detail- Efficiently cleaned scorched/burned pans with chemicals and elbow grease- Completed secondary tasks of deep cleaning the mop sinks, hand sinks, racks, and etc. to keep the kitchen clean- A liaison with front of house to keep their dishware needs met

Working as a prep cook let my flex my strengths of being detailed orientated, time efficient, and fast pace learning. Having no prior experience at all in the cooking industry, I was forced to learn on the job. This opened up new perspectives on how to increase work load efficiency, forecasting future needs, and business management. - Develop the daily prep list with the Head Chef & Sous Chef in the morning to diverge prep tasks efficiently- Guarantee freshness of all ingredients and food by checking the quality and using the newest products last- Understand recipes and instructions of many different food prep tasks- Cook and properly season prep tasks according to recipes or personal experience- Efficient in knife skills, saute, braising, blanching, and other common french cooking skills- Prepare various raw meat/fish with caution for sanitization and yield

Being an employee at Riverhaven was life changing. After working at a sister company for 3 years, getting promoted to be a Operations Manager was great for my growth. It taught me how to communicate with my coworkers and customers, lead a team of employees and manage an entire business's daily operations.- Manage a 300-person event center and its grounds- Set up tables, chairs, linens, napkins, and other decorations per event according to the event layout- Oversee events, while doing so, bus tables of glasses/garbage, maintain proper walkways, keep the bar stocked, and communicate with event manager regarding needs/wants of guests- After events take care of garbage, leftover supplies, pack up extra food/beverages, and help vendors load out.- Work with other vendors such as DJs, catering, floral, photographers, and etc during events to make sure everyone is on the same page- Sweep, scrub, and mop every floor surface after every event- Weekly meeting with management team, going over the weeks events and properly scheduling set ups, tear downs, and flips- Trained, scheduled, and led a team of Operation Assistants to assist in events and setups/tear downs- Perform janitorial duties after every event that consist of cleaning all bathrooms and dressing rooms
