What makes a good design? This is a question I have strived to answer throughout my four years of schooling where I studied Human-Centered Computing, Web Design, and Psychology. Before school, I would have said “It looks nice and is easy to use.” Now, I realize that good design is so much more. It is about fully understanding the person and the space in which you are designing and creating an intuitive experience that resonates with the user. In my projects, I strive to blend creativity with functionality, ensuring that each design not only looks good but also serves a purpose. Whether it is designing a user-friendly website or crafting an engaging app interface, I approach each challenge with curiosity and a passion for problem-solving.While in college, I have done a range of projects, my biggest one being Soloist, which has turned into my post-grad job. Soloist is an app that simulates the experience of having bandmates for musicians who practice alone. At Soloist, I led the design and prototyped the app, as well as initiated user interviews to better understand musicians and their barriers.
