Hi, I'm Riley Lookingbill!I'm a Texas Tech University Graduate of Business in Marketing. When I first came to Texas Tech I came in as Mechanical Engineering. Not knowing what it was I actually enjoyed doing, this didn't last long. In April of 2016 I got a job at Vector Marketing selling CUTCO Cutlery. This job helped me to find out what I truly enjoyed and that is marketing and sales. I worked there for two years, expanding my knowledge of running a business and how to market not only a product but also myself. In my first 10 days on the job I achieved a goal that no one in the Lubbock office has done in over 5 years which was selling $10,000 worth of product in my Fast Start. From that point on I was the number one sales rep in Lubbock on numerous occasions. In our 2016 Summer Conference 2 contest I competed with reps from all over our division (West Texas, Central Texas, & South Texas) and came up in 2nd place overall just barely shy of 1st and won 1st place for Assistant Manager. I have also been recognized from all over our region and most of the nation as possibly the BEST Virtual Demo sales rep EVER in the entire nation! By the end of my two year Cutco career I sold over $100,000 worth of product. I was also the Sales Manager for a little over a year. As Sales Manager my responsibilities were interviewing applicants, hiring the right people for our team, and training those who were hired, as well as consistently bringing in my own personal sales.At the end of December 2017, I began to run a branch of a business that a friend and colleague started in Amarillo, Texas. I started growing that business, while still attending Texas Tech, to the point that I could no longer work with Cutco and decided that it was time to leave the company and turn my focus on growing my business in Lubbock and finishing my college degree in Marketing.In May 2019 I decided it was time leave that business to finish my degree and search for a Sales job with a great company.
