I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with an Educational Studies Correlate at Vassar College, with an expected graduation in May 2026. My academic experience at Vassar has equipped me with a solid foundation in the studies of political science, covering various distributions of the field, including American, international, comparative, and political theory studies. This foundation is well complemented and benefits significantly from the additional coursework in economics and educational studies in which I have participated at Vassar.As an employee and colleague, I bring valuable work experience in the hospitality and customer service industries to the table. As a Recreation Attendant at Hotel Del Coronado, I have developed excellent customer service skills that ensure enjoyable environments for guests at the luxury hotel. My previous roles, including my experience as a Front Desk Agent and a Hostess, have further polished and developed my organizational and interpersonal skills in the customer service industry as well. In addition to experience in the customer service industry, I also have experience as a board member of a non-profit organization and as a student representative for the Islander Sports Foundation. As the Student Representative for the Islander Sports Foundation for 2 years, I attended meetings, provided feedback on on-campus activities, offered opinions on major decisions within the organization, particularly those related to funding and finances, and contributed input on ways to improve and grow our school's athletic program.I play Division III collegiate soccer and serve on the leadership committee. My experiences in competitive athletics, both at Vassar College's Varsity Women's Soccer and as the former Captain of Coronado High School's Varsity Soccer team, showcase my leadership abilities, dedication, and team-oriented mindset. I have been recognized with various awards, including Player of the Year, Most Valuable Player, 1st Team All-League, and SD Union/Tribune Athlete of the Week.In my senior year of high school (2022), I was awarded as the Molly McGowan All-Around Outstanding Senior Girl Award recipient. The award recognizes one senior girl graduate for her outstanding scholarship and student leadership.
