Taking time off between jobs

• Full responsibility for all network and infrastructure solutions within all buildings and satellite offices• Design assistance, administration, and implementation of Cisco Unified Communications Manager• Management, implementation, and control of Cisco wireless system across all buildings and clinics• Management of all security implementations, including Cisco AMP, Darktrace, Abnormal Security, Cisco Email Security, and Microsoft 365 Protection• Administration of Microsoft 365 environment, including Azure AD, Office products, and Intune• Administration of VMware environment, including ESXi hosts, Horizon View, vSphere, and all systems running within• Assessment and analyzation of technology infrastructure for continuity, hardening of servers and network, and possible implementation of new software/hardware beneficial to the hospital• Consultation with Director of IT on budgetary items necessary for future implementations, upgrades, and efficiency• Temporarily assumed all infrastructure responsibilities as of Oct. 2022 due to lack of staffing

Along with the duties listed below (aside from being removed from the on-call rotation), the following additional duties have been added:• Management of the network team• Full responsibility for all network and infrastructure solutions• Assessment and analyzation of technology infrastructure for continuity, hardening of servers and network, and possible implementation of new software/hardware beneficial to the hospital• Consultation with Director of IT on budgetary items necessary for future implementations, upgrades, and efficiency• Management, implementation, and administration of VMware environments, including Horizon View VDI desktops (ESXi version 5.2), server datacenter (ESXi version 5.5), and hospital EMR server solution (ESXi version 5.0)• Management, implementation, and administration of Cisco UCS environments

Maintain and administer all network infrastructure within the hospital, including (but not limited to): Cisco switches, routers and ASAs; Palo Alto firewall/content filter; Meraki switches and wireless system. Job functions include: day-to-day management of equipment; installing/replacing hardware; terminating CAT-5e/6 network cable; terminating fiber optic connections; troubleshooting and solving various networking issues, including networking problems with computers, servers, tablets, smartphones and the like; running and terminating phone lines; troubleshooting voice networking, including Cisco voice/fax gateways, implementation and administration of Cisco Unified Call Manager and Unity Connections, ASCOM Nurse Call VoWLAN solution; maintaining and troubleshooting WLAN infrastructure; implementation and troubleshooting of VPN and site-to-site tunnels. Administrator of Windows Servers (see previous job position for details); Server hardware administration of Meditech 6.0 system, including Windows Servers and EMC hardware. On 24-hour standby for any and all networking issues within the hospital, along with continuing on the 3-week on-call rotation.

Maintain and control all Windows-based servers -both physical and virtual- within the Mt. Graham domain, which includes (but not limited to): Active Directory administration; Microsoft Exchange administration; SharePoint installation and maintenance; updating and verifying Microsoft Windows Updates; troubleshooting hardware and software problems (both Windows-integrated and 3rd-Party software installed upon said servers); troubleshooting network problems; monitoring each server for errors that may affect production; Database Administrator - Maintain, run & support the ASG Cypress server, which holds all archived digital medical records; researching updates to current hardware and software to maintain optimum operability for the hospital. In current rotation for after-hours on-call every 3rd week, but also on “standby” at all times for whenever any server issues come up at any time of the day.

Maintained all desktop computers within the hospital (over 500). Also maintained (but not limited to): laptops, printers, fax machines, copiers, BlackBerry devices, cellular phones and IP desk phones as needed. Alternate after-hours on-call status with other co-workers, which entails immediate support for employees on-site or remote. Other support includes (but not limited to): Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Office Suite and other approved programs, such as CPSI. Hardware support and repair for desktop computers, laptops, printers, fax machines, copiers, IP desk phones and all other devices pertaining to the Information Systems department (Biomedical devices excluded).Other duties included: Database Administrator: Maintained, ran & supported the ASG Cypress server, which holds all archived digital medical records.
