As a soon-to-be graduate with a BA in Psychology (January 2022), I am seeking a position with a company whose mission and values drive interactions with both clients and employees. My interests span many industries, but my studies in Industrial and Organizational Psychology draw me to any organization that prioritizes the well-being of its employees. Managing people in the hospitality industry has given me opportunities to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. The complex world of personal interaction in these settings has shown me the power those interactions have on the lives of employees, and on the success of an organization. Team dynamics and challenges that flow from issues between team members are a particular fascination for me.My strengths include keen organizational abilities, a calm, clear-minded demeanor during stressful situations, well-developed interpersonal and social skills, a work ethic that drives me to overdeliver, and an intense desire to be of help to those around me. Working my way through college taught me the value of striving for a long-term goal, and that the sacrifices made along the way make the attainment of that goal even more precious. I am energized by challenging work and learning new things. I am a reliable, and trustworthy team member, who is interested in the success of the team, not in self-promotion. My default attitude setting is optimistic, and I'm undaunted by the seemingly impossible.
