The JDC West Business Competition is a registered not-for-profit organization, governed by a Board of Directors comprised of JDC West alumni and the current Organizing Committee External Co-Chair. This competition brings together the brightest business students from Western Canada to compete and showcase their skills and stand out on a competitive stage. In January 2018, me and my two outstanding teammates (Meghan Johnson and Thomas Stanzeliet) represented the Edwards School of Business within the Human Resources discipline. - Resolved twenty four human resources - focused cases within heavily restrained time constraints- Case topics included: recruitment, compensation, human resources information systems (HRIS), Labour Relations and termination, change management, and overall strategy-Expertly created engaging PowerPoint presentations that showcased our findings and recommendations- Collaborated closely in a small team along with coaches within the Saskatoon HR industry and Edwards faculty- Completed forty-plus hours of charity over the eight month process along with practices, classes, and other extra curricular commitments🏆 - 1st Place Recipient in the Human Resources Case-Strategy Discipline.🏆 - 1st Place Academic School of the Year (Team Achievement)🏆 - 1st Place School of the Year (Team Achievement)

- Promoted to a full-time position in licensing as of August 2018.- Research and document required operational licenses for our contracted therapists.- Lead in resolving licensing issues as needed- Monitor, process and document licenses and license renewals.- Complete business license applications and gather required supporting documents and signatures.- Complete comprehensive research projects are required.

- Record maintenance: maintaining and creating current HR files such as job descriptions, standards of practice, policies, etc.- Assisting in the implementation and rollout of the new Human Resources Information System (HRIS)- Participating in all recruitment efforts as directed – posting of job advertisements, analysis of applicants, participating in the initial screening interviews, etc.- Assist in the creation of performance management initiatives – creation of employee surveys, creation of management competencies for the TinyEYE Management Summit, etc.- Facilitated recruitment efforts for multiple incoming positions within the organization. We are very excited to be a team of continual growth, and this has provided me with direct hands-on recruitment experience.- Facilitating company payroll- After hard work and great coaching, I received a contract extension with this position to move it from a two-month contract into a five-month contract; however, after three months of working at TinyEYE - I received an offer to transition into a full-time Licensing Coordinator role.

Completed a management consulting project for United Way Saskatoon and Area. Our project was focused on a compensation review and plan for the organization.- Conducted internal analysis of the current systems and processes relating to current compensation methods- Completed a comprehensive external analysis of compensation trends that we utilized to shape our recommendations - Formatted and delivered a sixty-plus page report summarizes our project and key findings/recommendations - Worked extensively with a small team and our client (United Way) to complete our project🏆 - Proudly delivered our comprehensive report to United Way Saskatoon and Area for future consideration and implementation

The Edwards Business Students’ Society Inc. (EBSS) exists to represent and work on behalf of all the students of the N. Murray Edwards School of Business to supplement the university experience with a diverse number of social, academic, athletic, and charitable events throughout the school year. As VP Academic, I was responsible for managing my team of eight academic directors who plan educational and career building events for all Edwards students and acting as a member of the executive team. Within this position I was able to generate significant student engagement in academic activities, all the while utilizing robust budget constraint methods. We impacted the academic development of hundreds of Edwards students through our 2017/2018 events and enjoyed every step of the journey. 🏆 - Proudly worked with and managed my exceptional team of academic directors to provide Edwards School of Business students with twenty-two case competition delegate opportunities, nearly forty TASTE program matches, hundreds of attendees to our academic events, and so much more!

The Edwards Business Students’ Society Inc. (EBSS) exists to represent and work on behalf of all the students of the N. In my role as academic director of team development, I conducted over eighty interviews to determine who represents Edwards at case competitions across Canada, and trained them to understand how to comprehend and present the case. 🏆 - Proudly trained and developed the skills of our Edwards students with the goal of achieving academic excellence. As a result of both my training efforts and the skills of our teams, our teams proudly reached podium finishes in over seventy-five percent of attended competitions.

As the Provincial Sport Governing Body (PSGB), Golf Saskatchewan is responsible for providing leadership in driving participation, engagement, capacity, and excellence in the sport of golf. Golf Saskatchewan prides themselves with values such as integrity, respect, accountability, leadership, as well as many others. Golf Saskatchewan provides it's members will an abundance of opportunities to develop their skills as well as their love for golf. My summer roles included but were not limited to online communications via multiple online platforms, digital marketing (social media, constant contact, etc.), and Golf Sask member related inquiries.

The Saskatoon Blades are a junior ice hockey team in the Eastern Division of the Western Hockey League (WHL). As a sports marketing intern, I was responsible for all things customer relations (dressing room tours, question inquiries, etc.). This was an outstanding experience to get the opportunity to work with the fans of the Saskatoon Blades and help them with anything they required. In addition, I was handling game-day preparation for in-game promotions and ensuring the sponsorship materials such as rink boards were in great shape for the games.
