I make specialty coffee and espresso drinks for my fellow college peers.

While at my internship I had a varied experience. I sat in on therapy sessions and learned about the different approaches to therapy and counseling that each professional employed. I also sat in on assessments of new clients at the program. Lastly, I was allowed to see how the MAT or medication assisted treated worked at the facility and learned how clients who are in the MAT program also must meet with their therapist in order to continue the MAT program.

I provided structure and guidance for the clients in my care. I ensured proper policy procedures were followed and that the clients stayed on their routines according to their treatment plan. I kept the clients safe and secure during their stay at the facility to make sure their treatment goes smoothly.
