Hello! My name is Riley Vernon and I am a Senior pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Architectural Studies with a minor in Political Science. I’m motivated in Architecture through it's participation and impact on our day to day lives. I'm passionate about re-imagining what defines architecture and exploring the social impacts of design. In my current studies, I seek to stretch the boundaries of architectural design beyond conventional application; In my own convictions, this means investigation, questioning, and a constant pursuit of design literacy. I hope to design for a quickly adapting and radically changing public with collaboration, creativity and care. Whether I'm sketching for studio or writing a personal essay, I seek to use design as a tool for understanding the world and its dimensions.
