I never imagined I would be where I am today. I was not set up to succeed. Luckily, the younger me had a hero, my father, whose guts, and determination, gave me and my sisters the best start. He shaped my life mantra: to always give back what I receive so that others have the same chances. I also succeeded because of the help I asked for and received, especially at the start of my career, fresh from university and the mother of young sons. Being curious, intuitive, and trusting my gut has taken me in totally new directions. Technology found me at Accenture, and I embraced it. Then I wanted to see the impact we could have with technology. If, through my work I can have a positive impact on my clients and by extension on people and society, I’m happy. My other passions in life include art and spending time with the people I love, sitting around the table enjoying a simple meal and a good chat. I love building cohesion, having good conversations with people, developing the capabilities of my teams, and thinking collaboratively and creatively about how we can use technology as tool to achieve business and societal goals.Today, as Cloud First Lead at Accenture BeLux, my role is a catalyst and connector. I make sure our great team brings relevant solutions to help our clients’ organizations and people maximize their strengths and grow in an ethical and sustainable way. Cloud is not about the technology. It’s about what you do with it: from greater efficiency, to easier learning, from new jobs for all talents to protecting our health and the environment. This is where I want to make a difference as a technology professional.
