The legend tells I made my intro in results-focused consulting as a toddler, when my mother was struggling to get paperclips into their container. Without going into the details how sophisticated my methods were, I discovered the hidden lid and managed to open it. ... I'm happy to say I'm fully officetrained these days!Nowadays, I've found my vocation in public accounting. I'm not that into paperclips anymore, though the list of business industries I've worked with includes Paper, Pulp & Forest Products. Currently, I work chiefly with non-profit clients and have gained an extensive experience on auditing financial project reports for various funding parties, such as Business Finland (Tekes), several Finnish ministries and the European Union. I also have not-so-secretly a soft spot for private SMEs - growing up in an entrepreneurial family left its mark. My aspiration to provide meaningful comments and high quality for our clients has led into internal roles as well. Currently, I am in the Auditing Services and Methods core team that supports engagement teams in resolving critical auditing issues, keeps teams up-to-date on changing regulations and drives audit transformation through standardization and automation.While out of the office, I'm usually outdoors with my dogs. I'm passionate about culture and generally have tickets to at least one theater performance or other event, in addition that my walls are covered with bookcases and art (I love especially lithography). I'm more selective towards sports - unless fitness boxing or running is involved. I also have a DVD/Blu-Ray collection that competes with video rental shops, and quite a jungle of houseplants to tend. I believe professionals are cultivated like flora: with a proper soil, area for growth and nutrients. My career is built on a BBA degree in Accounting with an excellent grade (GPA 4.7/5.0) and a demonstrated work history in both accounting and financial management. As for a fertilizer, constant self-challenge keeps me thriving. My goals for the upcoming 5-year-period include graduating with the master's degree from Aalto University School of Business, gaining the special qualification related to significant entities for authorised public accountants (KHT-tilintarkastaja), obtaining the KRT certificate for auditor's on environmental, social, and corporate governance and bringing these new skills into action to our clients' benefit with accurate financial information.
