I am a student in the last year of my bachelors degree at the Hebrew University.⦿I work part-time at Ptil Tekhelet that uses biblical dyes extracted from sea snails for religious applications.⦿I have improved the absorption of the dye by a factor of two. Since the dye represents most of the costs, this represents a major cost reduction.⦿I am replicating the biblical argaman dye controlling the color using nanoagregation and modern dyeing techniques.
