Oversees day to day activities of finance and accounting operations including the full cycle of month end closing activities.Monitors and analyses department work or develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.Monitors and perform studies to interpret financial actions and modify accounting processes and provide technical advice and recommend improvements.Responsible for reconciling bank accounts against the General Ledger monthly. Duties include reconciling checks and/or deposits, researching discrepancies, posting journal entries, processing check copy requests, filing and other miscellaneous clerical tasks.Provides training to new existing staff as needed.
