Key responsibilities:• Support the business in delivering a winning approach in marketing, proposition design and development, reflecting Swiss Re appetite and client needs• Provide expert knowledge of ANZ Life & Health retail insurance market propositions and competitor offerings• Monitor and maintain market intelligence of global and local trends and developments, to assist in identifying and creating new markets and opportunities• Ensure that a clear strategy is maintained for Retail insurance business• Support the Life and Health Client Markets and Pricing teams in delivering high quality service and product expertise to current and target clientsThe Retail Solutions Manager forms part of the Market Solutions team within the Life & Health ANZ Client Markets team. The Market Solutions team is the engine of Client Markets responsible for driving :• Strategy implementation and business origination opportunities• Proposition retail development for both existing clients and in new market segments• General research activities to support the Life & Health business.

• Develop strategic solution for life insurance offer across brands and distribution channels. Identify• Holistic product design across all profit levers from terms and conditions, pricing positioning and reinsurance to remuneration, underwriting and customer services. • Research and analyse customer changing customer behaviour including social, demographic and technology trends, medical advancement, competitor developments and global market developments. Evaluate these opportunities for the business• Interface with divisions across BT and the broader Westpac group to drive product development initiatives across the business. • Liaise with the Claims, Distribution, Marketing, Underwriting, Actuarial, Reinsurer and others across the Westpac Group to identify opportunities for enhancement of existing offer and development of new solutions. • Develop of business case with key stakeholder for development opportunities that present to our business. • Report on product strategy including measurement of performance on implemented strategies, including areas such as market share analysis, and other key success measures• Assist in the servicing of enquiries to the product team with focus on assistance in “unusual” queries and opportunities that are presented to our business

Using industry and competitor data develop reports and presentations for executives, highlighting potential market movements and trends. Research and develop reports for senior managements presenting unique product ideas to capture new markets. Organise and collaborate with other departments to develop and produce these ideas.Deliver high quality of work within a define time frame.Maintain relationships and monitor changes with external research houses.Develop internal reporting framework and structure.Develop and provide commentary on high level monthly performance reports to senior executives.

Research, analyse and organise data from internal data warehouse. Develop precise and accurate document, highlighting the potential of each client, for respective parties.Develop training manual and presentation for international counterpart. Contribute in the development of compliance and company policies in regards to certain acquisitions. Ensure all work and report developed complies with company policy and regulations.Develop, highlight and provide insight to senior management in regards to certain deal.Collaborate with other business areas to ensure all parties involved are up to date with progress of the work.
