As an intern at Innomatics Research Labs, I had done many projects in Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), Machine learning, Streamlit and Flask using python programming language.My mentor provided me with the necessary resources, tools and guidance to succeed in my role as a data science intern. In addition, the internship also featured training sessions and guest lectures to further develop my technical skills. These sessions covered topics such as python programming, statistical modelling, natural language processing etc.During my internship I got a chance to work with a team of five members for the project 'Quora Question Pair Similarity with MLOps' and identified which questions asked on quora are duplicates of questions that have already been asked. We used both basic and advanced approaches for our project and we found that accuracy increased from less than 80% using basic approach to greater than 80% using advanced approach using BERT. Using BERT as a text to numeric vector conversion technique and XGBoost as a machine learning classification model obtained 85.3% accuracy and selected it as the best model.One of the challenges I faced during the internship, was managing multiple projects simultaneously. Later, I learnt to manage my time and do my tasks effectively.Overall, my internship at Innomatics Research Labs is an enriching and transformative experience.

During this internship I got a chance to work with Supervised and Unsupervised ML projects.- Predicted the percentage of a student to be 92.915 if he or she studied for 9.25 hours a day using supervised machine learning. Here, I used a simple linear regression model as the data involves just two variables.- Predicted the optimum number of clusters to be 3 and represented it visually from iris dataset using unsupervised machine learning. Here, I used k-means clustering to find the optimum number of clusters.
