About Rin Marie Wilson

As a Dutch-Mik’maw artist based in Amiskwacîwâskahikan (Edmonton), I bring a unique blend of artistic creativity and specialized knowledge to my practice. With a strong educational foundation in Visual Arts and Psychology from the University of Alberta and Red Deer Polytechnic, my work explores themes of memory, generational trauma, and identity through a diverse range of mediums including watercolor, monoprinting, digital techniques, and needle felting.My artistic journey is complemented by extensive experience in art instruction, curation, and support for individuals with developmental and other disabilities.
