• Ensure that safe work rules and practices are understood, implemented and consistently followed by Maintenance Department employees and contractors • Ensure adoption and adherence to Industry standards, norms and best practices • Ensure the Management of individual performance • Build skill Development programs for maintenance personnel and evaluate the results • Ensure regulatory compliance of maintenance activities • Review priorities assigned to work orders and all planned activities • Monitor and control overtime• Identify other Departments constraints and define the maintenance schedule accordingly • Ensure schedule adherence according to operations priorities • Manage work order backlog • Assign and review work to perform with the craftsmen • Complete maintenance related jobs according to the highest standards of safety, efficiency and effectiveness • Contribute to continuous improvement in all Maintenance activities and provide technical support to the other maintenance functions • Contribute to spares stock optimization (in co-operation with the other departments concerned)

• Ensure completion of Electrical maintenance jobs with the highest level of quality safety and effectiveness at minimum cost to maximize equipment availability. • Embrace preventive and predictive maintenance practices, and contribute to their improvement. • Respond to emergency repair needs. • Work with the planning in the development of job planning • Ensue safe storage and disposal of replaced spares • Ensure working condition and safety work • Take adequate actions when Electrical incidents occur. • Ensure, upon completion of repairs, that equipment is in good operating condition, ready to meet operational requirements, fully inspected, tested, clean and safe • Optimize maintenance operations, using best available tools and procedures in order to maximize equipment availability.
