Thematic Countries District Pavilions, Design Consultation and Project ManagementClient: EXPO 2020Responsible for the Project management for 42 Thematic Pavillions. Extremely proud to mention that, when the prizes were announced for the best Thematic Pavilions of Expo 2020, out of the 18 Pavillions which won Gold, Silver and Bronze medals, 14 pavilions were part of my projects namely Tonga, Democratic Republic of Congo, Fiji, Seychelles, Suriname, Holy See, Ivory Coast, Jamaica, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Yemen, Guinea, Comoros, & Organization of Islamic States.

Dubai Retail is the retail management arm of Dubai Holding. Responsible for the Retail Delivery/Fit out Management and Facilities Management of Retail Assets of Dubai Holding. The various Retail Assets include Jumeirah Emirates Tower, Souq Madinat Jumeirah, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Bay Avenue, Bay Square, Dubai Wharf, Manazel Khor & Community Centers which include Mudon, Remraam, Al Waha, Shorooq, Nuzul & Sereena. FM service Management of the properties including systems of electrical, HVAC , Plumbing and all civil works. Reviewing and modifying the FM procedures when necessary changes are required. Ensuring that all KPI’s are met by the FM service provider and making sure that all HSE rules and regulations are followed.Completed project include high end office at Emirates Towers like “ Public Diplomacy Office”, “Edge of Government” , ”Department of Possibilities”, “Dubai Future Accelerator”,” C4IR”, “Pfizer”, “XLab” & “Ernest & Young” . Office fitout works in other DR assets include “Sarood Hospitality” “Urban Foods”, “CTBA” & “Lootah Real Estate”. Other major projects include the “Theatre of Digital Arts @ Souq Madinat Jumeirah” - the first of its kind digital arts in UAE, “ Robotics Lab @ Jumeirah Emirates Towers ” - fully equipped robotics lab, “ Aero TFT@ JBR ” – sophisticated flight simulator , “ Emirates NBD @ JBR”, “ Aster Clinic @ Bay Avenue” and F & B unit like McDonald’s, Shrimps Kingdom, Dickey’s BBQ, Automatic Restaurant, Texas Chicken, Maria Bonita, Meat Co are few of them.

Heading the entire projects team. Analyzing the feasibility of the projects and providing technical feedback when ever required. Project planning and efficiently organizing the site facilities to ensure that all deadlines are met and by following all authority regulations at all stages.Various projects carried out include Villa construction, all sorts of civil works and maintenance, FM services, Fit Out works etc. Few of the completed projects include G + 4 Police Staff Accommodation @ Warsan, Safeer Hyper Market @ Deira, Office Fit out work for Skyscrapers Raymond @ Village mall, Villa construction @ JVC, Flat Renovation @ Aspin tower etc.

From Feb 2005 till May 2008 Designation: Civil EngineerOn 1St April 2008 Promoted to Facilities Engineer•Responsible for the final handover of the Burjuman Expansion project which included the new retail area including the 4 basement parking, Burjuman Business Tower, Apartments Tower 1 & 2.• Preparations of snag reports for the Expansion projects and follow up with the contractors for the completion of the same.• Also involved in the Old Burjuman renovation project (2013-2016) which includes Carrefour, Vox Cinemas 16 Screens, Family Entertainment area and the renovation of the retail area with more F &B outlets and more retail space.• During the handover of the retail area, detailed snags reports are prepared, discussed with the consultants and contractors to complete the same.• Received the As Built drawings and DM and Civil Defence approved drawings after the completion of the projects. • Preparation of the attic stock list and confirming all the materials are supplied by the contractors.• Sets Inspection criteria and ensures that external contractors carry out work as per the mall’s guidelines, HSE standards and general legislative regulations.• Responsible for the structural modification during the renovation of the building• Attends to emergency situations at any point of time.• Monitors and develop controls to optimize overall all performance level and energy consumption.• Identifying and correcting the root causes of troubles and taking necessary steps to avoid the repetition of the same.• Suggests & recommends to management new approaches for improving overall time & cost efficiency.• Monitoring resources and maintaining progress against budget.• Keeping track of all the AMC’s and ensure that all of them and carried out on time.• Prepares drawings in AutoCAD .• Coordination with other Departments (Marketing, Housekeeping, Operations and Security)for any event based works or day to day activities.

Project Handled : (Infra Structure Works) (1) Drainage and Sewerage WorksResponsibility includes evaluating the site thoroughly for fixing the man holes by proper trial hole to identify the underground services. Rerouting the required services if required by consulting with the Ministry authorities. Getting all the material approved for the work from the consultants. Arranging required men, materials and. machinery for the project. Proper dewatering had to be arranged as depth of excavation was around 7 meters. Coordination with the Consultants and Ministry Engineers to carry out the project as per scheduled in the Program Chart. Frequent site inspection planned to ensure all works are as per standards. Monthly preparation of invoice based on the quantity of work carried out each month.(2) Road Works.Responsibility includes analysing the site considering the required levels as noted in the drawings and planning the initial site preparation, i.e. cutting of the existing ground or filling the area to attain the required levels. Providing levels on both side of the road on an interval of every 10m so that during the process of preparation of the road the levels can be checked at any time. Providing contingency ducts where ever required considering future use for any services. Getting the prepared road approved by the consultants before asphalting. Traffic road markings to be done as approved. Coordination with the Consultants and Ministry Engineers to carry out the project as per scheduled in the Program Chart. Frequent site inspection planned to ensure all works are as per standards. Monthly preparation of invoice based on the quantity of work carried out each month. Preparation of As built drawings during the completion of the project. In addition to this minor infrastructure works were done in BDF (Bahrain Defense Force) BAPCO (Bahrain Petroleum Company) and BAFCO (Bahrain Aviation Fuel Company

Project Handled : Construction work of two Storied Biscuit Factory. (Area 32100sqft) In charge for the construction of the new Biscuit factory, one of the biggest in South India. From Site marking to the coordination with the civil contractor for the proper planned execution. In addition to this regular meetings with machinery erection team so as to provide proper foundation for various machinery and also with the Caltex Team in the installation of LPG Tank.
