Finished a PhD focused on sexual rehabilitation issues among gynaecological cancer patients after treatment with radiotherapy.I like to work together on less fragmented and more holistic, multidisciplinary care, since I strongly believe mental, physical and social factors are inseparably linked when (psychological) problems are experienced. Also, it is important that those problems are discussable, both among patients and professionals. Patients frequently mention to feel safe with me telling me their vulnerable story, often not being able to tell their family or friends. Consequently, appropriate treatment with attention to, not only medical considerations, but also the patient's context may follow, serving as a gateway to an improved quality of life.
