-Full ownership of segment revenue outlook, forecast and budget, reporting to Portugal CFO and dotted line to Area Controller and Business Lead.-Results and pipeline analysis, highlighting issues/recommendations to drive performance improvement with special focus on cloud products, new business, consumption and pushing towards transformation.-As a member of the Leadership Team provides key business and financial management insights to business partners, alongside robust assessment of risks and opportunities.-Prepares the analysis and financial presentations for Corporate HQ and Western Europe region.

Reported to the GM Finance and worked close with Leadership Team to: -Develop financial models to support business value delivery and to drive/influence mindset on returns, profitability and cash generation (average contribution of $450M to Downstream, operating across 5 regions, 70 countries and 880 airports)-Drive continuous operational improvement to the FP&A process, virtually leading 5 regional FP&As based in Chennai, ensuring an integrated onshore-offshore working relationship-Coordinate the Global Financial Operational Plan. Deliver monthly business and financial analysis, collecting information across regions and preparing the Downstream results meeting content and storytelling

-Focal point of the Global Finance organisation for the Implementation of Aviation’s strategic projects (Marketing Joint Ventures, divestment implementations, among other global projects aimed to reduce business complexity and deliver the agreed Aviation footprint)-Drive elimination, simplification and automation principles as well as the standardisation of processes across 70 countries and 5 regions

-Reporting to the Aviation Finance Director, leaded the valuations activities and provided financial advice for different projects (new and old market entries, mergers & acquisitions and divestments)-Supported negotiation processes by defining best deal value aiming for win-win situation achievement-Delivered the 2009 Capex Plan operationalisation (55 mln USD) and 10 year Capex plan submission

-Reported to European Finance Manager, had three financial assistants as indirect reports, and was responsible for the end-to-end business finance delivery (excluding Credit)-Responsible for the business performance appraisal and for providing clear and consistent business analysis-Responsible for MI delivery to Leadership team and Business plan operationalisation-Provided finance input, support and challenge in investment/divestment proposals and business reviews-Ensured full compliance through IFRS rules; acted as the regional aviation advisor for accounting, fiscal, treasury, JVs, insurance and other specialist finance activities and liaised with specialist service providers-Turnover: 1,365 USD mln; 25 airports and 11 Joint ventures

-Reporting to UK& Ireland Finance Manager, delivered forecast and performance analysis on a monthly basis and supporting the Finance Manager on the planning process-Supported the implementation of B/S reconciliations and identify potential weaknesses in controls and proposed solutions to fix them-Supported the sales, supply and operations teams with ad hoc analysis as needed-Performed and checked journal entries on a monthly basis-Active role in testing, implementation and control processes of GSAP go live in UK and Ireland, as well as in the carve out activities of Ireland, after sale of the downstream business.-Responsible for the accounting, planning and MI of the Gatwick incorporated Joint Venture-Turnover: 1,546 USD mln; 19 airports and 11 Joint ventures

-Ensured that every litre of fuel delivered to customers was identified and recorded timely and efficiently, by building strong relationship with airport supervisors who required support on financial and IT processes and ensuring that key business controls where adhered to.-Meeting tight deadlines at month end ensuring that finance managers were aware of any major problems that could affect accounting results for the month-Performed stock and IG account reconciliations

-Reporting to the CEO, implemented a back office structure with the tools and procedures defined by the Group-Responsible for the implementation of the telemarketing and emailing campaigns, managing a team of three people

-Responsible for Italy, Greece, Israel, South Africa, Mexico, Australia and UK markets, liaising with local distribution partners and ensuring sales plans/ business objectives were met-Reporting to Sales & Marketing Director, had to ensure the optimisation of sales orders at global level with factory production schedules.

-Reporting to the CEO, responsible for the marketing, new functionalities and future developments of the e-marketplace platform-Development of the corporate image, website and intranet; worked closely to IT department and external programmers to develop the B2B booking platform.
