After volunteering in Kyiv, Ukraine in 2023 to help rebuild homes, I decided to dedicate more time to what I truly enjoy at this stage of my life — sports and helping others. I founded a charitable tandem paragliding organization to offer people with special needs, including individuals with disabilities, terminal illnesses, or those facing challenging times, a chance to experience the joy of flight. My mission is to spread positivity, promote inclusivity, and create unique, unforgettable adventures for these individuals. The organization also provides a platform for volunteers to serve others, offering them a chance to connect, learn, and make a difference in the lives of those they support.I’m a certified tandem paragliding instructor and equipment maintenance/repair technician with USHPA and APPI, respectively, holding an advanced pilot rating. I’ve had the pleasure of organizing and hosting several paragliding events for beneficiaries and volunteers, and I’ve truly enjoyed them.Before all this, I spent over 20 years as a CPA, working in major international CPA firms, as well as in public and private companies. I held senior management positions and gained a wealth of experience in finance and accounting, including areas like financial reporting, corporate secretarial work, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, business development, forensic accounting, liquidation, and dispute resolution.
