Networking, problem-solving, and leveraging digital platforms are where I thrive.As an undergrad student at GVSU, I transitioned from a Marketing Intern to a Marketing Assistant at GVSU Laker Store. Here, I played a pivotal role in expanding our social media presence and managing key marketing initiatives. Additionally, I gained valuable insights into market research and strategic planning during an internship with an orthopedist, where I successfully presented findings to senior leadership.Post-graduation in 2020 amid global uncertainties, I pivoted my skills to new opportunities. Exploring my creativity in the culinary arts, I ventured into the world of small business with 'Donuts by Rio,' integrating current social media trends and operational strategies.My professional journey includes diverse marketing internships, honing skills in content creation, recruitment, and crafting effective email campaigns. At Farmers Insurance, I excelled in customer service, earning accolades for excellence and quality control.Currently, I am honored to return to GVSU Laker Store as the Marketing Manager, overseeing a team of five students. Together, we streamline departmental operations and drive innovative marketing strategies.
