As Partner and Managing Broker at NAI Rio Grande Valley since 2004, I co-founded the company in partnership with a local entrepreneur and NAI Global. Over the years, I have trained and directed our team to achieve over $1,000,000,000 in closed commercial real estate transactions in less than 18 years. I manage three regional offices in McAllen, Harlingen, and Brownsville, and serve as Partner and Managing Broker for 10 licensed realtors.

As Owner and President of Michael J. Blum Company since 1988, I founded and lead a unique consulting firm specializing in the high-growth area of the Rio Grande Valley in Texas. Our services encompass strategic and city planning, real estate, and development services for international businesses, industries, and governments. We also provide data gathering, research assistance, and expert analysis on a wide range of regional, economic, and demographic issues. Key clients include Hidalgo County, Cameron County, Hunt Oil Company, the City of McAllen/Bridge Board, McAllen Chamber of Commerce, McAllen Economic Development Corp., the City of Mission, Rio Grande Valley Partnership, Sharyland ISD, and numerous land developers and landowners. As President of Rioco Realty, one of the largest commercial and industrial real estate firms in the Rio Grande Valley, I held a dual leadership role alongside my consulting business. In 2004, I acquired Rioco Realty with a partner, rebranding it as NAI Rioco. We were awarded the NAI license by NAI Global, forming what is now known as NAI Rio Grande Valley.
