I would describe myself as an avid enthusiast finding joy in reading, lifelong learning, music, the outdoors, and the delightful company of my family and beloved pets. When I reflect upon my career, I always say "I been through the school of hard knocks." Nevertheless, I have come to realize a lot of what I have done has prepared me to work with leaders and individuals that desire ongoing growth and the pursuit of excellence. Over my extensive career, it has taken me to working with leaders at an international level in several different countries developing successful business relationships within the building products industry. My career has also afforded me the opportunity to lead teams toward success which have impacted tremendous organizational growth and my participation on a TEC/Vistage peer advisory board was a large contributing factor to achieving this success. The foundation of a private peer advisory board made up of about a dozen or more executives generates a level of brain trust. It is the collective wisdom and unbiased feedback in that room whereby chief executives have the opportunity to gain clarity, because they have the freedom to have frank discussions by challenging one another to become a better leader and achieve better results.
